A wine made from some of the oldest
vineyards in the plot.
Vineyards that have stood up over 60 years and whose fruit evidences their mellowness. |
| |
It was made with virtually one-piece
berries that underwent fermentation whose must macerated during
20 days with no control of temperature whatsoever. After some
time in new barrels, the wine aged during 20 months in French
and American oak. At the end, the gentle filtering helped to
obtain a wine plenty of its own characteristics, which prevail
over time. |

A very deep bigarreau cherry colour
| |
At first, it is intense with complex aromas fallowed
by hints of overripe berries, and raisins coming through, well
blended to the spicy tones of wood, candy, roasting… |
| |
A powerful entry, full-bodied, balanced with
well-merged tannins and a great persistence. There are hints
of roasting, candies and those of raisins that come through again
in retro-olfaction |
